I am reminded of a time in the Bible where God uses an individual for His power to be on full display (John 6). Jesus performs a miracle of multiplying a boy’s lunch to feed thousands. A young boy, a little bit of food, and a willing heart coupled with the power and authority of Jesus fed thousands that day. This story serves as a powerful reminder of God’s divine ability to do the extraordinary with what may seem ordinary. It’s a testament to the boundless abundance of God’s grace and provision.
Just as God turned a few loaves and fish into a feast, He can take what we hold and do amazing things with them. God can take what we hold in our hands; our time, talents, and treasures– and use them for His glory.
This truth gives us hope and encouragement that we have so much potential within us. When we offer what we have to God, we open ourselves up to His miracles, turning the everyday into the exceptional, the plain into the remarkable. Just like the loaves and fish, what’s in your hands can be used by an all-powerful God to make a difference in the lives of the kids and families in our community.
